Florida "Winters"

Florida winters have got to be the most beautiful days ever created. The temperatures drop to just above needing a fireplace, and cool enough to dig out a light jacket to get to the car and back. Here in Florida, we are thankful that we don't have snow....wanna know why? DRIVING!!! We can't even handle the rain, the insurance companies would have a field day in Florida if we had regular snow. We already have some of the highest insurance rates in the US, it would be a record.

I digress.....the weather did it's "change" this week. The AC is off(yay lower electric bill!!!) and the cats are frisky. No more walking out side and sweating, making you want to run inside and take another shower.

As you northern people settle down into your winter, we'll be thinking of your salt topped roads and shovels full of snow, as we sit on the back porch sipping a refreshing beer and watching football while the kids romp in the yard.
